1.8 Power Efficiency Package

The GTR 8000 Base Radio or GPW 8000 Receiver is available in a Power Efficiency Package, which provides low
standby power consumption (see
and trunked base radios operating in the UHF-R1 and UHF-R2 frequency bands. The Power Efficiency Package
optimizes the power consumption for supported base radios/receivers. This allows for the use of power generated
from alternate energy sources such as solar or wind.
