Procedure Steps
Connect to the device using Configuration/Service Software (CSS) through an Ethernet port link. See

2 Select Security → Device Security Configuration → Remote Access/Login Banner (Ethernet) from the
menu.
Step result: The Remote Access/Login Banner screen appears displaying the Remote Access Configuration
tab.
Click on the Login Banner tab.

4 Edit the text of the banner.
Click one of the following:

• Refresh: To re-read the original Login Banner text.
• Apply: To save your changes and keep the screen open .
• OK: To save your changes and close the screen.
• Cancel: To close the screen without saving your changes.

Sets the SWDL transfer mode prior to performing a Software Download on the device.

Follow this procedure to set the SWDL transfer mode to FTP (clear) or SFTP (secure) for the device.
