Meaning
The port is connected and linked,
but no data flow occurs.
The port is transmitting or receiving
data. The blink rate indicates the
level of link activity.

The module has completed the
power-on self-test and software
initialization and is operating
normally.
• The module slot is disabled or
initializing the software.
• The module failed to boot
because, for example, the image
file failed to load.
The module failed to boot.
The switch power is off or there is
no power to the module.
If the switch power is on, the module
is performing the power-on self-
test.
A module in this state is not yet
functional.
