Important:
The 8812XL supports only Avaya-qualified 10Gbps SFP+ transceivers. 1Gbps transceivers
are not supported.
For example, if you insert a 1G transceiver into a 10G port on the 8812XL, the port is
prevented from coming online and the system displays the following message on the
console. This is true even if the inserted part is Avaya-qualified.
CPU# [date time] COP-SW INFO Slot #: 1G SFP detected in 10G SFP+
port #. Port offline.
Important:
The 8812XL module requires, at minimum, software release 7.1.3 to operate properly.
