The 8683XZR module includes three forwarding engine lanes. Each lane supports 10 Gbps
bidirectional traffic. All three ports can run concurrently at 10 Gbps.
The 8683XZR modules support jumbo frames.
Avaya recommends that you install only one 10GBASE-ZR/ZW XFP in one 8683XZR module
due to cooling limitations on the 8683XLR and XZR modules when using standard fan trays.
Avaya further recommends that you install the XFP only in Port 1. You can install a 10GBASE-
SR, -LR/LW, or ER/EW in one or both of the remaining ports.
No XFP limitations exist for this module in any slot when using the new cooling modules for
the 8006 and 8010 chassis.
