On the 8630GBR module, if you find that a remote link comes up before the module is
completely initialized, you can upgrade the FPGA firmware image on the module to PIM=769
or later. For more information about upgrade instructions, see Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch
8800/8600 Upgrades — Software Release 7.1, NN46205-400.
The 8630GBR modules support jumbo frames.
