9.3.4. BUS FAULT Indicator Blinking

If the BUS FAULT indicator blinks, check the operating state of the module. Refer to section
about the indicators behaviors of each module, and refer to the following content of this section for more information about
the troubleshooting for I/O modules.

Description
The I/O module can not run/stop.

The procedure of restoring the
system can not be executed. (SM9)
An error occurs when the data in the
I/O module is accessed. (SM9)
The actual arrangement of the I/O
modules is not consistent with the
module table. (SM9)
An error occurs when the data is read
from the module. (SM9)
The setting parameter of the module
is not found. (SM9)
The number of network modules
exceeds the limit. (SM9)
The checksum of the high-speed
data exchange is incorrect
The ID of the actual power supply
module is not the same as the ID of
the power supply module set in
HWCONFIG.
The amount of data exchanged at a
high speed exceeds the maximum
amount supported.
High-speed data exchange error
Corrective action
Check whether the setting of the parameter for the module is
correct. If the setting is correct, please check whether the
module breaks down. If the error still occurs, please contact
the manufacturer.
The contents of the system backup file are incorrect, or the
file does not exist in the path specified. If the file exists and
the procedure of restoring the system can not be executed,
please backing up the system again. If the error still occurs,
please contact the manufacturer.
Please contact the factory.
Check whether the module table in HWCONFIG is consistent
with the actual arrangement of the I/O modules.
Check whether the module operates normally. If the error still
occurs, please contact the factory.
Set the parameter in HWCONFIG again, and download it.
Please decrease the number of network modules to the
number supported by the system.
Please check the version of the firmware installed on the
module, and contact the factory.
Check whether the power supply configuration in
HWCONFIG is consistenet with the actial arrangement of the
power supply module.
Check the firmware version and contact the supplier.
