DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the spring joint 1 , front fork spring 2 and stoppers
3 .
Do not remove the pin 4.

INSPECTION

FRONT FORK SPRING
Measure the fork spring free length. If it is shorter than the ser-
vice limit, replace it with a new one.
Front fork spring free length
Service Limit: 154 mm (6.1 in)
STOPPER
Inspect the stopper wear or damage. If defects are found,
replace the damper with a new one.
INNER TUBE
Inspect the inner tube sliding surface for any scuffing. If any
defects are found, replace the inner tube with a new one.
