Understanding the Rapid Resume features
The IBM Aptiva Personal Computer comes with a set of
energy-saving features, called the Rapid Resume
features. Using the Rapid Resume features, your
computer can perform certain tasks unattended or in
less time. For example, you can set up your computer to
automatically turn on, run a program, and turn back off
again. You can also reduce the amount of time required
to start your computer.
You can view or change the current settings for the
Rapid Resume features in two locations. On your
Windows 95 desktop, you can open the Rapid Resume
Manager. In the Setup Utility, you can open a menu for
Rapid Resume settings.
