Modem commands for DSVD

Table 15 lists AT commands customized for Digital Simultaneous Voice and Data (DSVD). Using DSVD technology, you
can talk and share data simultaneously on a voice-initiated telephone call. For example, if you have the proper
programs, you can call a friend to discuss which game you want to play and then use the same communication line to
play the game. DSVD is also used for video phones.
Note: These commands are not supported by the TSR program that is required for operating the modem in DOS mode.

Simulates virtual off-hook event.
–SSE–ON
Simulates virtual on-hook event.
–SSE–AA
Enables auto answer mode, which allows the modem to always accept and answer the voice channel request.
–SSE–AM
Enables auto multiple call mode, which allows a new connection every 30 seconds with a 5-second delay between calls.
–SSE–A–
Cancels auto call, auto answer mode, and auto multiple call mode.
–SSE–&W
Writes system audio parameters into the VoiceEEprom registry.
–SSE–&R
Reads the current audio parameters from the VoiceEEprom registry.
–SSE–SN
Sets silence detection as the default mode.
–SSE–SF
Disables silence detection for the modem.
–SSE–FN
Sets full duplex mode (with headset) as the default.
–SSE–FF
Disables full duplex mode (with speakerphone), reverting to half duplex mode as the default.
–SSE+VGT=x
Sets the speakerphone gain level:
x=?
x=1..255
–SSE+VGR=x
Sets the microphone gain level:
x=?
x=1..255
Disables the current setting.
Specifies the available range.
Disables the current setting.
