Chapter 8: Diagnosing and recovering from problems
Here's what to do:
Make sure the system memory modules are installed correctly and securely.
For instructions on installing memory modules, see "Installing system memory
modules" on page 71.
If you have added any external cache modules, make sure they are installed
correctly and securely. For instructions on installing cache memory modules,
see "Installing cache memory modules" on page 69.
• If you have removed cache memory from your computer, press Enter while
the error message is displayed. This starts the Setup Utility. See "Viewing
system information" on page 35 for information to help you verify that the
new cache memory size is correct.
• If you have not removed cache memory from your computer, see the
HelpWare book for information on obtaining service.
1. Make sure the keyboard and mouse cables are correctly and securely
connected to the ports on the back of the tower.

2. Make sure that a keyboard key or a mouse button is not being held down.
Make sure the diskette has been formatted. If you don't want to use the diskette
to boot (start) your computer, remove the diskette from the drive.
