ABS and/or ASC/DTC can be
switched off in each riding mode.
The following explanations always
refer to the riding safety systems
that are switched on.
Throttle response
In the RAIN and ENDURO rid-
ing modes: restrained
In the ROAD and ENDURO
PRO riding modes: direct
In the DYNAMIC and
DYNAMIC PRO riding modes:
dynamic
In the DYNAMIC PRO and
ENDURO PRO riding modes,
the throttle response can be
set differently via the SETUP
(
75).
ABS
Rear wheel lift-off detection is
active in all riding modes.
In the RAIN, ROAD, DYNAMIC,
and DYNAMIC PRO riding
modes, theABS is set for road
use.
In the ENDURO riding mode,
ABS is set for off-road use with
road tires.
OE
with riding modes Pro
In riding mode ENDURO PRO,
there is no ABS control on the
rear wheel when the footbrake
lever is actuated. The ABS is
adjusted to off-road use with
lugged tires.
In the ENDURO PRO riding
mode, the ABS can be set
differently via the SETUP
(
75).
In the RAIN, ROAD, DYNAMIC,
and DYNAMIC PRO riding
modes, the ABS Pro is avail-
able to its full capacity. The
inclination the motorcycle has
when braking in curves is re-
duced to a minimum.
In the riding mode ENDURO,
the support of ABS Pro is re-
duced compared to ROAD.
In riding mode ENDURO PRO,
ABS Pro is not available.
ASC
Front wheel lift-off detection is
active in all riding modes.
ASC is set for road use.
In the ROAD riding mode, ASC
provides high riding stability,
and maximum riding stability in
the RAIN riding mode.

DTC
Tires
In the DTC settings RAIN,
ROAD, and DYNAMIC, the
DTC is set for road use with
road tires.
In the DTC setting ENDURO,
the DTC is set for off-road use
with road tires.
