To remove the fabric sliding plate:

1. Move the shims out of the throat plate area.
The transport clamp along with the shims moves out of the throat
2. Lift the fabric sliding plate (3) in the area of the tabletop recess (4) and
3. Lift the fabric sliding plate completely at the pin (5).
