Battery replacement procedure
Fig. 9.1 shows how to replace the battery.

Prepare a new battery.

Turn OFF the power to
the PC CPU.

Remove the AlSD71.
I
Pull the used battery from
the
holder.
I
Insert the new battery into
the holder, and set the
battery's connector.

Reinstall the AlSD71.
I
Turn
ON
the power to the
PC
CPU.
Is the
AlSD71 lit?

fault
Complete
Replace the battery within 15 minutes.

If replacement takes 15 minutes or

more, the backed-up data can be lost.
