RECEPTION MODE
Enables you to select the type of reception adopted by the facsimile machine. The available
settings are:
-
AUTOMATIC RX
With this method, after the programmed number of rings, the facsimile machine connects to
the line and answers automatically.

MANUAL RX
With this method, you carry out the reception procedure yourself.

FAX/PHONE*
With this method, the facsimile machine recognizes whether an incoming call is a voice or a
fax call. It enables you to use the same line for fax and telephone calls.

FAX/TAD*
With this method, when an incoming call is received, the external telephone answering device
is activated.

This feature is only available in some countries.
SUBSTITUTE RECEPTION
With this parameter enabled, due to the automatic storage feature, incoming documents can be
received even when there is no paper or ink left, a paper jam has occurred, the cover is open or
the facsimile machine is busy printing.
RX ON PC & FAX
Enables you to receive a document on the personal computer and print it on the facsimile machine
at the same time.

ACTIVITY REPORT
Used for enabling or disabling automatic printing of the activity report after 30 transactions.
LAST TX REPORT
Used for enabling or disabling automatic printing of a report after each transmission transaction.
LAST RX REPORT
Used for enabling or disabling automatic printing of a report after each reception transaction.
LAST ERROR REPORT
Used for enabling or disabling automatic printing of a report after an unsuccessful transmission
attempt.
