Cleaning the Print Head Pad

1. Switch off the facsimile machine.
2. Lift the operator console and
open the lid of the print head
compartment.
5. Close the print head compartment cover, lower the operator console and switch the facsimile
machine on. Refer to the "Automatic Nozzle Cleaning and Testing Procedure".

Purging the Print Head

The print head purging procedure consists of aspirating the ink to unblock the nozzles.
1. Press FUNCTION followed by 8.

2. Press START to access the menu.

3. By pressing ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ or ↓, ↓, ↓, ↓, ↓, display the "PRINT HEAD ADJUSTMENT" function and press START
twice.
4. At the end of the procedure, press STOP to exit from the menu.
