The CFE-415 vat has two level indicator lines inscribed on the rear wall of the vat (refer to
Level Indicator Lines , page
set point temperature. The lower fill line indicates proper oil level at room temperature. When filling
an empty vat with room temperature oil, fill to the center of the lower fill line (2). As oil heats, it
expands to the upper fill line (1).

Description
Vat Cover
Covers the vat when not in use.
USB Port
Used to download information from controls and perform firmware
updates.
Drain Valve Knob
Pull out black knob to open drain valve and oil drains from vat; Push in to
close drain valve and oil can be pumped into vat.
Reserve Oil Tank
Used to hold new oil for the automatic oil top-off feature.
Filter Drain Pan
Oil is drained into this pan and then is pumped through the filter to help

Quick Disconnect
Connection for rinse hose when disposing oil.

Basket
Each vat accommodates two 1/2 baskets or one full-size nugget or tiered
