If the IK 215 is connected in the signal path between the encoder and the control
component:
Do not change the settings of the IK 215 (e.g., parameters, encoder voltages) and do not
switch it off while the machine tool is operating.
This could lead to damage or injury to the machine or persons!
Read the operating instructions of the IK 215 in detail, before you use the unit.
