AMC units (DC powered)

Horizontal rack mounting

Please observe the following rules for horizontal rack mounting:

• The units should be distributed equally within the rack.

• The minimum distance between two units must be 330 mm [12.992"] (measured from

top of the lower unit to bottom of the upper unit).

• A maximum of 5 units can be mounted within one rack.

Vertical rack mounting

Please observe the following rules for vertical rack mounting:

• A maximum of 10 units (2 blocks - 5 units) can be mounted within one rack. In that

case a heat baffle should be placed in the middle of the rack as shown in the figures

below.

• The minimum distance between two blocks must be 400 mm [15.748"] if no heat

baffle is used (measured from top of the lower block to bottom of the upper block).

AMC units (AC powered)

Horizontal mounting

Please observe the following rules for horizontal rack mounting:

• The units should be distributed equally within the rack.

• The minimum distance between two units must be 330 mm [12.992"] (measured from

top of the lower unit to bottom of the upper unit).

• A maximum of 5 units can be mounted within one rack.

Vertical rack mounting

Please observe the following rules for vertical rack mounting:

• A maximum of 10 units (2 blocks - 5 units) can be mounted within one rack. In that

case, a heat baffle must be placed in the middle of the rack as shown in the figure

below.
