When using Octal E1 or Octal T1 card redundancy on the 3600+ MainStreet node, ensure that the paired slots are adjacent to each other with the first card in the lower-numbered slot (for example, slots 1 and 2 are paired, not 2 and 3). -

This demerit value is raised on the inactive shelf and indicates that the inactive SSU (or Timing card) is not locked (aligned) with the active SSU (or Timing card).
