Description
Use the dot1x multicast-trigger command to enable the 802.1X multicast trigger function. The device acts
as the initiator and periodically multicasts Identify EAP-Request packets out of a port to detect 802.1X
clients and trigger authentication.
Use the undo dot1x multicast-trigger command to disable the function.
By default, the multicast trigger function is enabled.
You can use the dot1x timer tx-period command to set the interval for sending multicast Identify
EAP-Request packets.
