Operation

Introduction to the subject
Applies to Infotainment Columbus, Amundsen.
The Media Command function allows playback of audio files or videos in up to
two TabletsThat are connected to Infotainment via WLAN, to control Info-
tainment.
The Media Command function enables operation of tablets with the operating
system Android or iOS.
Connect tablet to Infotainment

Turn on the Infotainment hotspot (WLAN) (tap the
tap the function surface  → WLAN → Mobile hotspot → Mobile hotspot).
›
Turn on WLAN in the tablet.
›
Establish a WLAN connection in the tablet
›
In the tablet, start the application ŠKODA Media Command.
ŠKODA Media Command application
The ŠKODA app is available in the App Store and Google Play online shops.
Information regarding the application and the option to download the applica-
tion can be found on a website that can be opened by reading the QR code
» Fig. 206 .
To ensure full functionality of the ŠKODA One App application, data transfer
from external devices must be activated.

CAUTION
If several devices are connected to Infotainment via WLAN, there is a risk that
the quality of the WLAN connection, and thus the function of Media
Command may be affected.
