System Component Overview

The EFX800-16 is comprised of two basic system blocks, the console and the base. The con-
sole provides the user input controls, metric indicator displays, and console-to-base com-
munication interfaces. The console also provide the service software menus including
maintaining the Error Log menu. The base receives machine operating commands and
executes them. The base also monitors error conditions and sends detected error code data to
the console.
