LAN port configuration
The HN9400 satellite router connects to a satellite network to provide Internet
or intranet service or both to a host—typically a computer—or to multiple hosts
on a wired (Ethernet) or wireless LAN. The router has two Ethernet LAN ports
so it can be connected to one or two LAN subnets. The HN9400 satellite router
is designed to meet the needs of enterprise business customers, small business
users, and consumers.
The HN9400 is an IP router, and so it eliminates the need for an external router.
The HN9400 can be used in either a Ka-band or Ku-band bent-pipe satellite
network. This installation guide includes instructions for both Ka-band and
Ku-band installations.
