FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Intake air pressure sensor 1 (cylinders #1, #2, and #3): open or short circuit
Symptom
detected.
Check or maintenance job
Execute the diagnostic mode (code No. d:03).
Replace if defective.
1. Intake air pressure sensor output voltage
Out of specification → Replace.
2. Connect the test harness S-pressure sensor
(3P)
wire harness as shown.
NOTICE
Pay attention to the installing direction of the
test harness S-pressure sensor (3P) coupler
3. Connect the model 88 multimeter with
tachometer (digital circuit tester) (DCV) to the
test harness S-pressure sensor (3P).
Positive tester probe →
Negative tester probe →
4. Turn the main switch to "ON".
5. Measure the intake air pressure sensor output
voltage.
6. Is the intake air pressure sensor 1 (cylinders #1,
#2, and #3) OK?
Replace the ECU.
