ENGINE ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. Remove:
• Rear engine mounting nut
• Front engine mounting nuts
• Washers
TIP
Do not remove the engine mounting bolts.
2. Remove:
• Engine assembly
Removal steps:
• Screw in the engine mounting bolt spacers
(front and rear) using the engine mount
spacer wrench (engine adjuster)
there is a gap between each engine mount-
ing bolt spacer

• Remove the engine mounting bolts, and then
remove the engine assembly.

INSTALLATION

TIP
After installing all parts, refer to "CABLE
ROUTING" in CHAPTER 9, to check the cable,
lead and hose routing.
1. Install:
• Engine assembly
TIP
Use the engine mount spacer wrench (engine
adjuster) to tighten the engine mounting bolt
spacers.
Installation steps:
• Install the engine mounting bolt spacers
(front and rear) to the frame.
• Install the engine assembly and then, install
the rear engine mounting bolt, front engine
mounting bolts and washer.
