DICOM SCU Settings

The procedure for setting DICOM SCU (DICOM information for diagnostic devices connected to
the DRYPRO 771) using the service maintenance mode, is described below.
The following DICOM SCU items are available for setting.
• S11 CHANNEL USE
• S12 SCU NAME
• S13 N-EVENT PORT
• S14 IP ADDRESS
• S15 AE TITLE
• S16 HOST NAME
• S17 BORDER SIZE
• S18 FILM SIZE/TYPE
• S19 EMPTY NOTICE
• S1A DICOM ERR LV
DRYPRO MODEL 771 INSTALLATION MANUAL Ver.1.00 2003.10
: This setting determines whether or not to use the channel of the selected
diagnostic device.
"ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : OFF
: Sets the name of the selected diagnostic device.
A maximum of 12 alphanumerical characters may be input.
The name set here is used in the DRYPRO 771 only and will be displayed as
the diagnostic device name.
: Sets the N-EVENT PORT number.default setting : 00000
: Sets the IP address of the selected diagnostic device.default setting : 0.0.0.0
: Sets the AE title of the selected diagnostic device.
A maximum of 16 alphanumerical characters may be input.
default setting : blank
: Sets the name of the selected diagnostic device to be used on the network.A
maximum of 16 alphanumerical characters may be input.
default setting : blank
: Sets the output film border size."REGIUS" (no margin) or "CT/MRI" (with
margin) may be selected.default setting : CT/MRI
"REGIUS"
: Border with almost no margin used, for example, with
REGIUS CR.
"CT/MRI"
: Sets a margin suitable for CT or MR multi-format images.
: This setting determines whether or not a notification of film size and type check
is given.
"NO CHECK" or "CHECK" may be selected. default setting : CHECK
: This setting determines whether or not notification is sent to the diagnostic
device when the supply tray is empty.
"ON" or "OFF" may be selected. default setting : ON
: Sets the method of return of DICOM errors from the DRYPRO 771 to diagnostic
devices.
"STANDARD," "FAILURE" or "N-ACTION" may be selected.
default setting : STANDARD
"STANDARD" : When the diagnostic device checks the DRYPRO 771 status
(N-GET), the DRYPRO 771 returns to the diagnostic device a
"WARNING" signal to indicate, for example, that the supply
tray is empty and a "FAILURE" signal for serious errors.
"FAILURE"
: A "FAILURE" signal is returned for all errors.
"N-ACTION"
: In cases where the diagnostic device does not check the
DRYPRO 771 status (N-GET), the DICOM connection is
automatically broken (association aborted) by a print
command (N-ACTION).
