A. Administrative Requirements Prior to MFP HTTP Setup
The MFP's HTTP settings and Server addresses MUST be obtained prior to
setting up the MFP for HTTP Communication.
Please use your setup credentials provided by your vCare Administrator.
B. MFP Specific Requirements
The technician performing the HTTP setup must have the following information from
the vCare administrator before visiting the customer:
1. Device ID: The Device ID for MFP must match the 13 digit ID configured on
CSRC Server. The Device ID is the serial number for the MFP. This setting is
hard-coded in the bizhub 223 / 283 / 363 /423 vCare/CSRC settings.
2. Center ID: This ID is used by the vCare/CSRC Communication Server.
3. WEB/DAV Server IP Address: The IP address for the WEB/DAV Server.
4. HTTP Port: Typically 80, unless otherwise indicated.
5. Service Engineer's ID number: The SE ID is a seven-digit number. It should be
unique to the technician servicing the machine. Enter leading zeros if required;
e.g. 0123456. If no numeric ID assigned, simply use: 1234567.
C. Setting MFP Date/Time Settings
1. Press Utility\Counter button.
2. Press [3.Administrator Settings] on the touchscreen.
3. Enter Administrator password, as required. (Default = 12345678)
4. Press [1.System Setting].
5. Press [3. Date/Time Setting].
6. Enter Year, Month, Day [Daily on touchscreen], Hour and Minutes.
Note: Set Date will be displayed, if MFP is configured to communicate with NTP
Network Time Protocol server. Pressing this button will populate Year, Month, Day,
Hour and Minute.
7. Enter correct time zone by pressing the - or + keys and then press OK to save the
changes. This setting will be required, even with NTP configured on the MFP.
a. Eastern Time Zone: -05:00
b. Central Time Zone: -06:00
c. Mountain Time Zone: -07:00
d. Pacific Time Zone: -08:00
8. Press [Daylight Savings Time] button -> YES -> Enter 60 minutes -> then OK.
9. Press Close three times to exit Administrator mode.
