9. Troubleshooting
Supply Alert Messages (in alphabetical order)
Out of toner. Replace Toner Cartridge.
The printer is out of the toner color indicated in the message. Replace the indicated toner cartridge.
See p.139 "Adding Toner" for installation instructions.
Replacement Alert Replace Fusing Unit.
You need to replace the fusing unit. Contact your sales or service representative to obtain a new unit. See
"Replacing the Fusing Unit, Transfer Roller, and Dustproof Filter" for installation instructions.
Replacement Alert Replace IntTrans Unit.
You need to replace the transfer unit. Contact your sales or service representative to obtain a new
unit. See p.150 "Replacing the Transfer Unit" for installation instructions.
Replacement Alert Replace PCU:Black.
You need to replace the black drum unit. Contact your sales or service representative to obtain a new unit.

Replacement Alert Replace PCU:Colour.
You need to replace the color drum units. Contact your sales or service representative to obtain a new unit.

Supply order has failed.
The automatic supply order failed. The message indicates the supplies that the printer tried to order.
Print/Data Errors (in alphabetical order)
Command Error.

An RPCS command error occurred. Check the connection between the printer and the computer,
make sure you are using the correct driver for the printer, and make sure that the memory settings
for the driver match the memory installed in the printer.
Compressed Data Error
The printer detected corrupt compressed data. Check the connection between the computer and the printer.
Check that the program you used to compress the data is functioning correctly.
Insufficient Memory.
A memory retrieval error occurred.
(a) Failure in memory retrieval while drawing.
(b) Failure in processing frame.
Add additional memory to the printer. See "Installing the Memory Expansion Units" for instructions
on installing memory.
