9. Troubleshooting
No paper in tray.
The indicated tray is out of paper. Add more paper.
Paper size/type mismatch. Change settings to: A4 (Recycled)
The paper type and size in all trays are not the same as the paper tray type and size setting, when
Auto Paper Select mode is selected. Press [Change] to change the settings, press [Job Reset] to
reset the job, or press [FormFeed] to force printing.
Malfunction: (tray name)
There is a problem with the paper tray motor. Select a different tray and force printing, or press [Reset
Job] to reset the job.
Parallel I/F Error
The printer's self diagnostic test failed due to a loopback error. Replace the IEEE 1284 board that
caused the error.

Printer Font Error.
There are problems with the printer's font file.
Contact your sales or service representative.
[Print] without below mode? [Staple] [Punch] [Staple/Punch]
Continue printing without using the function listed on the third line of the display. Press [OK] to cancel
the displayed modes and resume printing.
Printing suspended. Resume printing from PC side.

Printing has been suspended. Resume the print job from your computer.
Problem with Hard Disk Please call service.
The printer cannot detect a hard disk. It may be incorrectly installed.
Check if it is installed properly or contact your sales or service representative.
