Cleaning the chain

Remove oil and grease with a suitable cleaning material.

Always keep the brake discs free of oil and grease, and clean them with brake cleaner when necessary.

Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

The service life of the chain depends largely on its maintenance.

Check the chain sliding piece for wear.

If the lower edge of the chain pins is in line with or below the chain sliding
piece:

Change the chain sliding piece.

Check that the chain sliding piece is firmly seated.

If the chain sliding piece is loose:

Tighten the chain sliding piece.
