Set the following items and functions as necessary: password, reception
protect, auto print, overwrite, erase Tx document, and I.D. code.
To enter a password

Select "Bulletin Box" using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

Enter a sub-address using the numeric keys and press [Enter].

• U p to 20 digits can be entered for sub-addresses. You can enter only numbers.
• I f you enter an incorrect number, press [Clear] to delete it and then
enter the correct one.
• You cannot register the same sub-address as one for other boxes.
Select "Box Name" and press [Edit].
Enter a box name and press [Enter].

• For details about entering characters, refer to page 1-29.
Select "Password" using the cursor keys and press [Edit].
Enter a password using the numeric keys and press [Enter].

• You do not always need to enter passwords. The same password can
be entered in other boxes as well.
