Receiving phone calls with priority given to fax
(Fax/Tel Mode)
•    S et the fax reception mode to the "Fax/Tel Mode" in the user install setting 
(page 1-38).
•    T he fax reception mode continues for a while after receiving a call. Therefore, 
in case of a phone call, the calling party is made to wait and charged for the 
call.
•  To receive a phone call, you need to connect the telephone to this machine.
When the other party transmits a fax

Reception immediately starts without ringing.
NOTE
The machine might ring at fax reception depending on the other fax machine.
When the other party makes a call

The machine rings in a few moments after the reception.

Talk to the other party.
When you hear the beep from the handset, the other party is 
transmitting faxes. Press <Start> immediately.

 Continuous ringing means the other party is making a call.
   F or a party who frequently calls you, tell them know in advance that 
it will take time to answer the phone.
 The other party will already have been kept waiting for a while by 
the machine rings, so try to answer the phone as quickly as possible.
 An additional phone also rings.
