Cooling System
K - Turn drain plug -arrow- on the radiator to the
left, if necessary fit auxiliary hose onto con-
nection.
K - In addition remove coolant hose at bottom
on the oil cooler -arrow- and drain residual
coolant.
Filling up
Select the appropriate coolant additive from the
original spare parts catalogue Škoda or from the
list of allowed coolant additives ⇒ Inspection
and Maintenance; change coolant.
Recommended mixture ratios:
Antifreeze
protection

-25° C
-35° C
Because of inadequate corrosion protec-

tion, the antifreeze concentration must not
be under 30 % and must not exceed 60 %,
the antifreeze protection and cooling effi-
ciency are reduced as the concentration
increases.
The coolant amount may differ according
