Linux Installation

NOTE: Use the rpm command to install the Linux version of the Magnia Software
Access Point.
1 Log in by root.
2 Place the Magnia Z310/Z310R Linux Install CD in the CD-ROM drive. Mount the CD.
# mount /mnt/cdrom
3 Move to the directory in which the rpm package of the Linux version of Magnia
Software Access Point is located.
# cd /mnt/cdrom/toshiba/TSAP/RPMS
4 Install the Linux version of Magnia Software Access Point, using the rpm command.
The following are installation examples for a version called 1.0-0.
Red Hat 7.0, 1CPU
# rpm –i tsap-2.2.16-22-1.0-0.i386.rpm
Red Hat 7.0, 2CPU
# rpm –i tsap-2.2.16-22enterprise-1.0-0.i386.rpm
TurboLinux 6.1, 1CPU
# rpm –i tsap-2.2.16-9-1.0-0.i386.rpm
TurboLinux 6.1, 2CPU
# rpm –i tsap-2.2.16-9smp-1.0-0.i386.rpm
Continuing with the example above, execute the following command when an
upgrade from 1.0-0 to 1.1-0 occurs.
Red Hat 7.0, 1CPU
# rpm –U tsap-2.2.16-22-1.1-0.i386.rpm
Red Hat 7.0, 2CPU
# rpm –U tsap-2.2.16-22enterprise-1.1-0.i386.rpm
