6.4 MASTER FEED
6.4.1 OVERVIEW
The master feed unit makes an image on the master and feeds the master to the
drum.
Procedure
The machine feeds the master from the master roll [A].
↓
The thermal head [B] makes an image on the master.
↓
Clamper [C] opens. (The drum is at the master feed position.)
↓
The clamper clamps the master. At this time, the cutter [D] cuts the master.
↓
The master is wrapped around the drum [E].
