Tighten the 2 bolts of SST more than 8 mm (0.31 in.).

Set the SST so that it is balanced.

9. DISASSEMBLY IDLER GEAR
(a) Mount the idler gear and No.2 idler sub--gear in a vise.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the gears.

(b) Using SST, turn the No.1 idler sub--gear clockwise and re-
move the service bolt.

(c) Using snap ring pliers, remove the snap ring.

Using SST, remove the injection pump drive gear
set nut.
