REMOVEL
1. REMOVE TIMING BELT AND PULLEYS
2. REMOVE DRIVE BELT, FAN AND WATER PUMP PULLEY
3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT OIL SEAL RETAINER
4. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP
5. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
6. REMOVE TIMING GEAR COVER
7. CHECK THRUST CLEARANCE OF IDLER GEAR
8. REMOVE TIMING GEARS
9. DISASSEMBLY IDLER GEAR
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT IDLER GEAR
2. INSPECT INJECTION PUMP DRIVE GEAR BEARING
3. CHECK BACKLASH OF TIMING GEARS
REPLACEMENT
1. REPLACE CRANKSHAFT FRONT OIL SEAL
2. REPLACE INJECTION PUMP DRIVE GEAR OIL SEAL
3. REPLACE INJECTION PUMP DRIVE GEAR BEARING
INSTALLATION
1. ASSEMBLE IDLER GEAR
2. INSTALL TIMING GEAR
3. INSTALL TIMING GEAR COVER
4. CHECK INJECTION PUMP DRIVE SHAFT THRUST CLEARANCE
5. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
6. INSTALL VACUUM PUMP
7. INSTALL CAMSHAFT OIL SEAL RETAINER
8. INSTALL TIMING BELT AND PULLEYS
9. INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY, FAN AND DRIVE BELT
