HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Install the boot into the master cylinder and the
groove in the piston
Apply silicone grease to the brake lever pivot-to-
master piston contact area.
Assemble the adjusting bolt, spring, pivot and bolt,
and tighten the bolt.
TORQUE: 1 N m (0.1 kgf-m, 0.7 Ibfft)
Install the nut and tighten it.
TORQUE: 6 N m (0.6 kgf m, 4.3 Ibfft)
BOOT
BOLT SPRING PIVOT
Apply silicone grease to the brake lever pivot bolt
sliding surface.
Install the pivot bolt and tighten it.
TORQUE: 1 N m (0.1 kgf m, 0.7 Ibfft)
Install the pivot nut and tighten it.
TORQUE: 6 N m (0.6 kgf m, 4.3 Ibfft)
Install the brake light switch and tighten the screw.
TORQUE: 1 N m (0.1 kgf-m, 0.7 Ibfft)
Install the dust cover onto the brake lever.
