CRANKCASE/TRANSMISSION/CRANKSHAFT/BALANCER ('04 - '05)
Loosen the thirteen crankcase bolts in a crisscross
pattern in 2 or 3 steps.
Remove the bolts, relief valve set plate and oil
strainer pipe set plate.
Remove the relief valve, oil strainer and oil pipe.

OIL PIPE
Place the left crankcase down, separate the right
crankcase from the left crankcase.
Remove the dowel pins and gasket.
DOWEL PINS
Remove the oil pump shaft, inner and outer rotors
from the left crankcase if necessary.
