I downloaded Dial tone file but it is still playing normal dial tone, why?
o
For downloaded tones to be affected change your country code settings to
"Others" in "Device Configuration->Device" page from GUI.
Following are the tones which are not dependant on the country, like
"Custom", "MOH", "Call Holding Tone", any download in these files will be
reflected immediately.
For the Other tones to be affective; Country code should be "Others" and
for each Tone you can select either the file is a downloaded Sound file or a
Tone file.
Can I get back the Default Tone Download files on Factory Reset?

No, you can't get back the Default tone files. But, you can download the
default tone files, download the "Tone.zip" file from the CD with this User
Manual using GUI Tone Download.
Why software upgrade is not happening?
o
First verify whether you have right software upgrade file names.
Software Upgrade Procedure may fail
Version Number of the upgrade files is same as the current version
of the Phone.
Product Number of the Upgrade files is different from the Phone
Product Number.
Hardware Version of the upgrade files is different from the Phone
Hardware version.
What are the Maximum entries in Call History & Upgrade History?
o
You can have upto maximum of 100 Call History Entries and 100 Software
Upgrade History entries.
From where I can access the Help of GLV-540?
o
You can access Help from GUI and LCD. At GUI each page as link "Help"
which explains the fields and validations and the default values of the fields
of that Page. At LCD Help you can access the help of Features and
Functions.
