19.8 FCC Notice Concerning
Interference
The t:slim Pump complies with FCC/IC
RF exposure limits for general popula-
tion/uncontrolled exposure.
t:slim Pumps equipped with a Blue-
tooth
RF option transmit at a maxi-
®
mum effective radiated power of 3.4
mW in the 2.4 GHz ISM band, which
covers the frequency range from 2.40
GHz to 2.50 GHz.
The t:slim Pump complies with
Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation
is subject to the following two
conditions:
1. This device may not cause
harmful interference, and;
2. This device must accept any
interference received, including
interference that my cause
undesired operation
Compliance with these guidelines
provides reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a normal resi-
dential environment. The t:slim Pump
Customer Technical Support: 1-877-801-6901
generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy, and may cause
harmful interference to radio commu-
nications. There is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particu-
lar installation. If the t:slim Pump does
cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, the interference
may be corrected by one of the follow-
ing measures:
Move or relocate the t:slim Pump
Increase the distance between
the t:slim Pump and the other
device that is emitting or receiving
interference
Changes or modifications not expressly
approved by Tandem Diabetes Care,
Inc. could void the user's authority to
operate the equipment.
