Installing and Removing the Hard Disk Drive Cage
Your system is equipped with one of the following types of hard disk drive cage:
■ Cage for Hot-Swap SCSI hard disk drives,
on page
133.
■ Cage for Fixed SCSI or S-ATA hard disk drives,
ATA Drives" on page

Removing the cage
1. Remove the right side door.
2. Remove the front panel.
3. Remove the 4 thumbscrews (A) holding the cage to the chassis.
4. Slightly pull out the hard disk drive cage.
5. Disconnect the data and power cables.
6. Slide the cage completely out of the chassis.
Cabling the cage
1. Connect the SCSI cable to the SCSI connector (A).
