ASUS System Web-based Management
(ASWM)
ASUS System Web-based Management is ASUS' self-developed software, which
allows to conveniently and remotely monitor, manage and upgrade systems.

Functions and Features

ASWM offers many functions and features for managing remote systems across a
network. These features help the system administrator perform daily system operation,
system extension, and transfer tasks. Some features of ASWM include:
■ Remote Web-Based Control
ASWM enables users to monitor system status from remote locations through the
web. No need to install from client side. ASWM provides a user-friendly interface
by utilizing pictures and icons to allow system manager to easily identify system
status.
■ Fast System Diagnosis
The System View feature of ASWM consists of a computer generated image of the
system, clearly illustrating system operation on every major component from the
front, rear and top of the system. When an abnormal system event takes place, a
signal appears on the system image right next to the component that is responsible
for the event. Warning signal is orange, while red indicates critical status.
■ Clear Status Information
The Health Information feature displays key system status such as temperature,
component voltages, fan speeds and capacity. The Inventory FRU System
Information feature shows the name and number of each component.
■ Automatic Update Real Time Chart
ASWM automatically updates system status data every 5 seconds by setting a real
time charts for CPU operations, memory capacity. Motherboard temperature etc.
This feature provides the most up-to-date information and allows system managers
to quickly identify any abnormal system events.
■ Warning Functions
When abnormal events occur, ASWM send e-mails or mobile phone messages to
pre-programmed recipients.
