the cage, we recommend you install (or leave, according to the
circumstances) an air dam into the empty carrier(s) in order to
ensure proper airflow and cooling.
Hot-Swapping a SCSI Hard Disk Drive
1. Unlock the front door with the security key, and open the front door.
2. Locate the slot in which the failed hard disk drive is located.
3. Push the blue release button (B) of the drive carrier to the left, and pull the
lever (A) toward you (roughly at a 30° angle).
4. Slide the carrier with the replacement hard disk drive into the chassis until it
clicks into place.
5. Close and lock the front door.
