16 Troubleshooting

16.1 Troub leshooting Chart
Symptom Possible Causes
Scale will not 1. No power to the Power
power ON. Supply.
2. No power to Main PCB.
3. Power to Main PCB is OK.
Scale 1. "Printer Continuously Busy."

2. "Calibrated mass error."
3. "Load Cell not ready."
4. "Zero Range Error."
For more than 45 seconds.

Check/replace Power Supply.
Check/replace Display Harness, J17/J18 M
Check/replace Display Stalk.
Check/replace ADC Wire H
Check/replace AD-PCB.
Check/replace Ne twork PCB.
Check/replace Printer Assembly.
Check/replace all EPROMs.
Check/replace Memory Expansion P
Check/replace Main PCB.
Also check 2.No power to Main PCB.
Check/replace P rinter System EPROM, U8 M-PCB.
Check/replace Main PCB.
Check/replace Printer Assembly.
Reprogram all Weight settings & Span ca
scale.
Check for platter or platform obstruction.
Check/replace ADC Wire Harness, CON3 AD-PCB.
Check/replace ADC Wire Harness, CON2 AD-PCB.
Check/replace AD-PCB.
Check/replace Load Cell Assembly.
Check for platter or platform obstruction.
Remove all items from platter and cycle power.
Reprogram all Weight settings & Span calibrate the
scale.
Check/replace ADC Wire Harness, CON2 AD-PCB.
Check/replace AD-PCB.
Check/replace Load Cell Assembly.
Check/replace Main PCB.
Check/replace Display Harness, J17/J18 M-PCB.
Check/replace Display Stalk.
Check/replace Wire Harness, CN21 PS.
Check/replace Power Supply.
Check/replace Main PCB.
Check for platter or platform obstruction.
Remove all items from platter and cycle power.
