BLESHOOTING TIP
In normal operation after system
component control recognizes
sensors, the alarm will be sent if
valid temperature reading is lost.
Compare outdoor sensor resis
tance to temperature / resistance
charts in unit installation instruc
tions.
Replace sensor pack if neces
sary.
At the beginning of (any) configu
ration, furnace, air-handler control
or equipment interface module will
detect the presence of the sen
sor(s).
If detected (reading in range), ap

Correct the cause of roll out trip.
Reset roll out switch.
Test the furnace operation.
Lost communication with indoor
blower motor.
Possible causes include power
outage, brown-out, motor not
powered, loose wiring, condensa
tion on system component control
without cover on breaker.
Problem may be on system com
ponent control or motor side.
Incorrect appliance unit size code
selected.
Check for proper configuring un
der unit size codes for furnace/air
handler on configuration guide or
in installation instructions.
Remove the thermostat from the
system while applying power and
reprogramming.
No system component unit size
code selected.
Check for correct configuration.
Unit size codes for furnace and
air handler are listed in the sys
tem component configuration
guide or installation instruction.
Remove the thermostat from the
