    This guide provides installation, operation, control, and reference information for the XTP SR HDMI scaling receiver. In this guide, the terms “scaling receiver” and “XTP SR HDMI” are used interchangeably to refer to the XTP SR HDMI scaling receiver. About the XTP SR HDMI Scaling Receiver The Extron XTP SR HDMI receives video, audio, bidirectional RS-232 and IR, and Ethernet signals over a single twisted pair cable.

    The following diagram shows one way the XTP SR HDMI can be integrated in an XTP point-to-point application. The scaling receiver can also be used with an XTP matrix switcher (see the XTP matrix switcher user guide for more details on matrix applications).

    DC power connector and LED — Connect the external 12 V, 1.0 A power supply to the 2-pole captive screw connector. The Power LED lights to indicate the device is receiving power. NOTE: The XTP SR HDMI can also be powered remotely (see Power Connection on page 9).

ATTENTION: • Do not use Extron UTP23SF-4 Enhanced Skew-Free AV UTP cable or STP201 cable to link the XTP products.
