Video Compensation Modes

Two modes of compensation are possible, Basic and Advanced.

Select the Status option from the main options.
Select the relevant output port name hyperlink.
In Basic mode the system will automatically set up the
brightness and sharpness in relation to the distance
entered in the Cable Distance field. Such values are
based on a look up table within the hub.

Fine tuning can be achieved by varying the distance
entered.
Select the Status option from the main options.
Select the relevant port name hyperlink. Click on
Advanced.
In Advanced mode each of the parameters can be
adjusted separately;
• Brightness & Sharpness enable compensation
for distance.
• Skew enables compensation for variation in
length between the cable pairs.
