6.2.2 Fryer Heating Oil
Turn the fryer ON and set the
temperature at least 45° F
above temperature of cooking
oil.
Heat light on (may cycle during melt)

within 21° F (12° C) of setpoint
2. HI indicates oil temperature is 21° F (12° C) or
higher than the setpoint
3. HOT indicates the oil temperature is higher than
410° F (210° C) [395° F (202° C)] for European
Community H14/H17/H22 fryers
4. PROB indicates a problem in the temperature
measuring circuit including probe
5. HELP indicates a latching problem
6. Defective computer
7. Broken or improper wire connection
